Overview

My posting abilities have been very limited the past day or two, and I apologize for that. And as I’ve already announced in the Writing Contest post, I’ll be away next week. However, I’ll make sure posts appear daily through pre-posting to keep you busy, and I can promise you some great articles as a result of the Writing Contest 😀 (only one person has sent in articles though, but they are amazing!)

So, let’s see what’s going on, and what you can expect in the coming week:

• Tuesday through Friday you’ll get to read several articles by Alcator. This includes one full guide to using MediaTracker cam clips, and a three-part series of articles focusing on how to create Push-Forward (PF) tracks. A lot of reading to enjoy 😀
• Unfortunately, as I’m away, there won’t be an update to the TMX Track List as there usually is every second Wednesday. Instead, the next update will appear a week later.
• The TMU Blog Server will be updated to host the TMX Monthly Track Contest. Unfortunately, there’s a problem with servers at the moment; they tend to go offline a lot (which is a problem Nadéo has, not the server hosts) – hopefully it won’t cause too much problem for the contest.
• Track Reviews are running a bit slow, but hopefully at least one will appear next week. Remember, if you have a track you’d like to be reviewed here at the TMU Blog, just contact “Jozii” in-game. Longer Track Reviews cost 250 coppers while shorter Quick Reviews only cost 50 coppers.
• Last but not least, there’s a secret project just waiting to be released (which is partly why I haven’t been able to fully focus on the blog). This is a larger written project focusing on informing new players about the aspects of TrackMania United as well as helping already experienced players getting more out of the game. It’s a long one, so it will be available for download rather than being a separate post in the blog. If all goes as planned, it will be available on Monday.

So, as you can tell, there’s a lot going on, and next week will be exceptionally full of great reading material.
