This week, unlike last time, I’m really happy with the overall track quality. We’ve got some really innovative and challenging tracks this week, and two tracks have even scored a 9.0, which is really good!
There are also two newcomers on the list – Djoszee and Gadget – and both have scored quite well. To top it all, MrA, who received a new personal high score of 7.0 two weeks ago, has once again broken his old record. This week he has received an amazing 8.0 for his Bay track (with better MT that 8.0 would have been an 8.5). Way to go MrA 😀

Didn’t I ask my track (TwistedMachine) to get reviewed? Or did I miss it?
Jozii, would it be possible to at least add one or two sentences explaining particular ratings? Because this is once again (for me) a rating that seems a bit low, and a rating without explanation is worthless.
I DO understand that you may have different criteria for rating than others, but those criteria need to be heard in order for the readers to know whether or not to follow your judgment. It’s like with movie reviews – if I read a review saying “Movie XYZ is just a remake of movie ABC from 1930 and it’s not surprising for the viewers of ABC – 30%”, I can easily say “To hell with that, I’ve never seen ABC, so it WILL be surprising for me, I’m going to see it”. If it instead says “The movie is full of Bro-Wayans stupid farting humor, I was bored to death”, I can say “Oh, I see, Bros Wayans, I’m not going to see this one”.
Similarly in case of H.C. – If you say “I’m rating this at 7.0 because it’s over 1 minute and the difficulty is hard”, readers may say “Oh, I see, I’m a WR hunter and I hate tracks over 50 seconds, I’m not going to play this”, or they may say “I love challenge, I’m going to try this if it seems too difficult for jozii”.
Alcator, I’ve thought about it too, just never gotten around to actually do something about it 😛 For next time (in two weeks), I’ll look into a few possibilities. I guess just a few sentences under the ratings about what is good/bad would be suitable 😉
Micster, you did, but as your track was the one fitting the criteria for being on the list (your most awarded track since last TMX List), it was listed here as well 😉 This has happened before, and in those cases I have just written a review as I usually do. So in other words, you will then get some background info for why I rated your track as I did on this list.
You didn’t miss it, it’s scheduled for 4 days from now (but as always, that may change) 😉
