The TMU Blog offers a few features which can help you expose your tracks, websites, servers, or whatever you might have. Some of these cost coppers, while others are free. To use a service, for example Track Reviews, simply send an in-game message to “Jozii”. Remember to state required information (for example the name of a track, if you are requesting a review) and to include any required coppers. Here’s a list of services available through the blog:
1. Track Review
You can have one of your tracks reviewed at the blog. Reviews are honest, and will therefore point out both the good and bad sides of your track. Cost: 500 coppers
2. Quick Reviews
Quick Reviews are similar to Track Reviews, with the difference that they are a lot shorter, consisting of a simple list of the ups and downs of a track. Cost: 50 coppers
3. Track Advertisement
Track advertisements are different from track reviews in the sense that advertisements are shorter and more to the point. Also, they point out only what is good about your track. Advertisements are a good way to attract more downloaders to your tracks. Cost: 150 coppers
4. Other Advertisements
The TMU blog is be happy to advertise other things than tracks as well. This can for example be clans, servers, websites, communities, etc. And the best part: All forms of advertisements, besides those for tracks, are COMPLETELY FREE!
5. Support (for contests and events)
The TMU Blog would be happy to support contests and events that offer copper prizes in exchange for a link at the place where the contest is originally hosted. Simply, we pay some of the contest prizes. The amount of coppers paid depend on the status of the contest, where it will be held, how many are likely to participate, etc. Here’s a rough list:
- Private contest held by a single person either in public or in a closed environment (such as a team): 100-1000 coppers (up to 2500 coppers if the conditions are good)
- Official contests officially held by the staff/owners of a larger website, forum, or anything similar: 1000-5000 coppers (up to 10000 for larger sites)
In exchange for this you are expected to link to the blog for example in the contest rules. Additionally, if you so wish, your contest can get advertised in the blog (for free).
