Last year we had a little Christmas contest. This year no contest was started on time, but instead a slightly innovative New Year event is hosted. But, it’s not necessarily a contest – it’s a poll in which, in order to vote, you have to make a track representing what you vote for. The best tracks may get awarded on the side…
Basically, the idea is to find out what people want to see more of when it comes to tracks in the TMU community in the coming year. Full speed tracks seem to dominate the field, but what do you think deserve more attention? It could be anything from simply a specific environment, mode or mood to several detailed aspects referring to styles (technical, off-road, etc.), certain innovative areas (innovative transitions, unique stunts, etc) or specific MT stuff – just to name a few.
The possibilities are endless, and while you can only enter one track, the track in question may represent several aspects. Just be specific!

To vote for full speed track, all I would need to do is build a Start – Finish track and name it “Fullspeed vote”.
To vote for Innovativeness, I would have to spend a lot of time innovating (inventing).
Seems to me it’s much easier to vote for braindead technical or fullspeed stuff than for some of the more intricate stuff. This poll ain’t fair.

It’s meant as a fun, slightly unserious vote. The main idea isn’t to make your tracks fit in every last detail though – basically, any track works as longas you at least try to make it fit. Besides, I hope no one will vote full-speed, as full-speed is already dominating. You’re not meant to vote for what should be the most common type of track, just a type that you’d like to see more of.
Besides, if a track doesn’t fit your style exactly, it’s not the end of the world. This is after all more a fun poll than a contest or a serious poll.
