First Impression
Looks pretty smooth… hope the track is as nice as the screenshot!
Track Design
The design of this track is pretty neat… there are some nice off-road sections and some fun jumps. While I found hardly any skidding (which is a huge plus in Coast), the track wasn’t too fast. Other than that, great job!

Scenery
This track’s scenery is adequate. There are a few bare sections, but the track design makes up for the lack.

Media Tracker
Intro: Super intro! It covers almost the entire track with good speed and neat effects. It’s not too long, either, which is nice - long intros get boring!
Ingame: There is a lot of helper text throughout this track. You need to restart once or twice to get the track down, as there are spots where the helper text is needed, but after that, everything’s smooth. I like the helper text, but I like it even better when a track doesn’t require effects like that!
Outro: This is a nice outro. Basically it’s just some camera effects, but it’s a beautiful combination of camera effects! Essentially, the track has the kind of outro I like - nothing too fancy, but still something fun to look at!

Originality
There’s not too much that strikes me as original about this track. I don’t think I’ve seen one or two of the jumps before, however, that’s about it. That doesn’t really make the track worse, but it always makes a track more fun if there’s some cool new feature.

Fun Factor
After a few tries, the track is pretty fun to drive. Had there been more stunts and speed, I think it would have been more enjoyable. It seems to me that most people will tire of it fairly quickly, however, the first couple times are a blast!

Summary
Terrific MT work, though I’d have liked it better if the helper in-game MT wasn’t necessary. Great flow with no skidding, but I wouldn’t have minded a sacrifice in this for some more speed. There are a few jumps and off-road sections that are cool. Each part of the track transitions smoothly with the next, which doesn’t always happen.

Notes:
- Ratings range from 1 (bad) to 10 (perfect). 5 is average.
- The final rating of a track is not the average of all sub-ratings. For example, a track not being very original doesn’t mean it’s a bad track.
- If you want to have your own track reviewed, you can sign your track up for a fee of 500 coppers. Simply send an in-game message to “Jozii” with the coppers and the name of the track (which must have been uploaded at the United Exchange first).
- Your help is always needed! If you are interested in writing track reviews for the TMU Blog, you may apply by dropping an e-mail to Jozii@pp.inet.fi.
